Requirements

This is the right position for the candidate with-

• Proficiency in WordPress: Extensive experience working with WordPress products, including themes, plugins, and customizations, with a strong understanding of the WordPress ecosystem.
• Quality Assurance Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in various testing methodologies including black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, unit testing, user testing, and both automated and manual testing.
• Bug Tracking Systems: Experience with bug tracking systems such as GitHub Issues, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms to report, track, and manage issues throughout the QA process.
• Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to –

• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to specific WordPress product development projects.
• Test Case Creation: Develop detailed and effective test cases covering various aspects of WordPress product functionality, including core features, compatibility, performance, and security.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and/or automate tests using appropriate tools and frameworks to ensure the reliability, functionality, and security of WordPress products.
• Issue Identification and Documentation: Identify, report, and document bugs, defects, and inconsistencies accurately and comprehensively using established bug tracking systems, with a focus on product-specific issues.
• Regression Testing: Conduct rigorous regression testing to ensure that product updates and changes do not introduce new bugs or regressions, maintaining the stability and integrity of existing functionalities.
• User Testing Coordination: Coordinate user testing efforts to gather feedback from target users, ensuring WordPress products meet user expectations in terms of usability, functionality, and overall satisfaction.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to prioritize and address identified issues effectively. Communicate test results, progress, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools specific to WordPress product development to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of deliverables.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization, particularly focusing on WordPress product development and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of WordPress application development experience will be preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find and fix complex bugs efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Salary & Others

→ BDT 25,000 to 35,000 per month based on your skill and experience.
→ Payment on the very first day of the month.
